Bhejo App ("Bhejo", "we", "us", or "our") is a local shopping and delivery platform that helps customers discover products and local shops, place orders, and use related services. This Privacy Policy explains how Bhejo collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Bhejo application, website, and related services.
Depending on the features you use, Bhejo may collect or store your name, phone number, address, Firebase account identifier, and other information you provide in your profile.
When you shop through Bhejo, we may process information associated with your cart, orders, selected products, shop information, order totals, order status, and delivery or contact information needed to process an order.
Bhejo may request approximate or precise device location when you use location-based features such as finding nearby shops or displaying shops on a map. Location access is controlled by your device permissions. If you deny location permission, some location-based features may not work as intended.
If you enable notifications, Bhejo uses Firebase Cloud Messaging and may process a notification/device token so the app can deliver relevant notifications, including order-related alerts. Technical information required for authentication, security, communications, and operation may also be processed.
Bhejo uses product search technology, including Algolia, to provide product search and discovery. Search requests may be sent to the search service so relevant products can be returned.

We take reasonable measures to protect information used by Bhejo. Bhejo uses Firebase services and HTTPS-based communications for relevant services. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, meet security requirements, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, we intend to delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable, subject to applicable legal or operational requirements.

Use the subject line "Bhejo Account Deletion Request" and include the phone number associated with your Bhejo account. We may need to verify the request before processing it.
After verification, we will process deletion of account-associated information that we are not required or permitted to retain. Certain information may need to be retained for legitimate purposes such as legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or security.
Bhejo is intended for general users and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request children to provide personal information for purposes that are not necessary to operate the service.
